David Draper is an accomplished Michigan-based attorney who represents a wide variety of businesses, individuals and insurance companies. Besides being licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan, Mr. Draper has been admitted to practice law before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.  

Mr. Draper received his B.A. from the University of Michigan in 1987 and graduated from Indiana University School of Law in 1990. He also attended University College, Faculty of Laws, in London, England in 1988. Mr. Draper is a member of numerous professional associations including the State Bar of Michigan, the First Amendment Lawyers Association, and serves as a case evaluator for the Wayne County Circuit Court, the Macomb County Circuit Court, and the 36th District Court. Mr. Draper also hosts “The Legal Insider” television talk show and serves on the board of directors of Forgotten Harvest, a non-profit food rescue organization in Southfield, Michigan. Mr. Draper is A.V. rated by Martindale-Hubble, the leading source of lawyer rankings.

Mr. Draper is regularly retained by insurance companies to defend bars and restaurants in dramshop litigation, business owners in premises liability actions, and drivers involved in auto accidents. In addition, Mr. Draper represents auto suppliers, charter schools and other businesses involved in contract and business disputes, as well as individuals charged with crimes.
