Mr. Rubin, is a nationally renowned trial and appellate attorney. Mr Rubin was born in Detroit Michigan in 1966 and was raised in Southfield, Michigan. Mr. Rubin received his B.A. 1988 from Michigan State University and graduated Cum Laude from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan in 1990. Mr. Rubin is  AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.

Mr. Rubin is licensed to practice law in Colorado, Michigan, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania. Additionally, Mr. Rubin has been admitted to practice law before the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Michigan, the Western District of Michigan, the Northern District of Illinois, the Central District of Illinois, the Southern District of Illinois, the District of Colorado, and the Northern District of Texas. Mr. Rubin is also admitted to and has practiced law before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Federal Claims, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Rubin has appeared Pro Hac Vice (by special permission) before a number of federal and state trial courts in Alaska, Arizona, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

Mr. Rubin is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the First Amendment Lawyers Association, the Litigation and Criminal Law sections of the State Bar of Michigan, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. In addition, Mr. Rubin has been named a Fellow by the Litigation Counsel of America.

Mr. Rubin serves as General Counsel to a number of businesses in the retail, bar and nightclub, and entertainment industries. Mr. Rubin also serves as an independent director of a publicly traded chain of bars and restaurants. Mr. Rubin regularly speaks at trade conventions and continuing legal education seminars.

Mr. Rubin has tried a significant number of cases, both civil and criminal, throughout the United States and has frequently argued appellate matters before both state and federal appellate courts. Mr. Rubin is widely respected as both a trial and appellate attorney and is regularly hired by other law firms to try complex civil and criminal matters for their clients.

During the course of Mr. Rubin's career, he has handled a wide variety of matters, including complex trade secrets cases, intellectual property litigation, commercial litigation, criminal tax cases, white collar criminal defense, corporate internal investigations, personal injury defense, zoning and liquor licensing disputes, and constitutional law matters, amongst others. He is also frequently called on by clients for his expertise in business and transactional matters and to handle appellate matters for clients and for other law firms.
