Ms. Daskas is a seasoned litigation attorney with law firm, in-house and government experience in the areas of criminal law and civil litigation.  Ms. Daskas was born in 1969 and was raised in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. Ms. Daskas obtained her J.D. from the Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University in 1994.  During law school, she was an active member of Moot Court and served as a board member.  Ms. Daskas also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Justice, Morality and Constitutional Democracy from James Madison College at Michigan State University.

Most recently, Ms. Daskas was an attorney in the litigation section at Ford Motor Company, where she was responsible for defending and overseeing toxic tort and commercial litigation matters. Prior to Ford, Ms. Daskas worked as an associate attorney in a mid-size Chicago law firm, handling commercial, employment, construction, general litigation and insurance coverage matters.  In addition, Ms. Daskas served Wayne County (Michigan) as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the Homicide, Trial, and Appellate divisions and as an Assistant Corporate Counsel in the litigation department.

Ms. Daskas possesses diverse litigation, appellate and consulting experience. She has tried a significant number of civil and criminal cases and has argued appellate matters before state and federal courts.  She has experience making high level strategic decisions involving discovery and nationwide litigation.  Her overall well rounded background brings a unique understanding of the practical business implications of litigation, defense strategy, risk assessment, and the proper management of discovery up and through trial.  

Ms. Daskas is licensed to practice law in the states of Michigan and Illinois. She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts of Eastern District of Michigan and the Northern District of Illinois as well as the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
